Tim and Alison
Cao Xiang Dong & Hao Hong Yan are in their early thirties. They are our youngest foster parents! They have one son who is three years old and goes to preschool at the local kindergarten. She stays home with their family while he works at an equipment company. Since they always have young children in their home, they have a lively family!

Chen Bao Yu & Bai Mu Qing are in their late of fifties. He used to work at a fertilizer factory, but after he retired, he and his wife joined our foster families. They have two grown sons. One of them works at a duck farm, while the other one stayed to work on the family’s farm.

Chen Dian Min & Zhao Lucy are in their late of fifties. They have two daughters who are already grown. They are farmers, and they decided to foster children because they want to give their love to orphans by taking care of them. Kimberly

Luke and Christine
Christine and Luke were both born and raised in Qingyundian. They were married in January of 1983, and they have two grown children. Their daughter works in a factory in a nearby village, and their son is a driver. Luke works at a local factory as a cleaner, and Christine is a housewife. They learned about NDFH from another foster family, and applied to be foster parents because they love children and have a burden for the fatherless. They believe they can help special need's orphans with their love.

Li Rong Fu & Guan Shu Ling are two of our wonderful foster parents. She enjoys working at home taking care of all the household chores, and he used to be the director of the local village. Now he works at New Day’s factory. They have one son who is now a taxi driver. They want to foster because they love to help orphans.

Anna and Joseph
Anna and Joseph have been married for 30 years after being introduced to each other by friends. Both are in their mid-fifties, and they’ve raised two daughters in Qingyundian. One of their daughters is 30 years old and works for a Beijing steel factory, and the other is 22 and attends college right now. Joseph worked for the New Day Creations Factory from 1999 to 2001 and worked for a food manufacturing company from 2002 to 2008. He retired from the food manufacturing company in 2008 because of health problems. He needed leg surgery and could no longer spend long hours standing up. Anna worked as a cleaning lady at New Day Foster Home from 2000 until her retirement in 2009. Knowing they wanted to do more to help special needs orphans, Joseph and Anna decided to become foster parents. They are excited to be a part of our children’s stories, and they look forward to seeing their foster children progress and develop in the coming years.

Janie and Paul
Janie and Paul have been married for over 25 years. Both Janie and Paul were born and raised in the Qingyundian area, and they have raised two children in this village; a daughter and a son, both in their early-twenties. Their daughter sells clothes at a market in Beijing, and their son is a driver for his uncle, a businessman in Beijing. Paul is one of the local village leaders, and until she became a foster parent, Janie helped in the local village government as well. Janie and Paul noticed other families in their neighborhood who served as foster parents for New Day children, and they decided this was something they might like to do. They love children and felt that their lives were too quiet with both of their own children raised! They are very happy to be a part of helping our children grow and thrive, and they also enjoy getting to be a Yeye and Nainai (Grandpa and Grandma) already.

Daniel and Virginia
Believing that love can change a child's life, Daniel and Virginia decided that they wanted to open their home to orphans. Virginia is a housewife and her husband is a construction worker. They have two sons. The oldest works for a construction company in Beijing, and the younger one works at a greenhouse in a nearby town. Daniel and Virginia's sons are also thankful that their parents are now foster parents; the whole family believes this is an opportunity to invest in children's lives and be a part of shaping their futures.

Bill and Joanna
Bill and Joanna decided to become foster parents because they want to help orphans. After raising their 3 children, they decided that they wanted to share their loving home with children who didn't already know the love of a family. Their oldest daughter works at a local bank; their middle daughter works at Nokia in a nearby Beijing suburb, and their youngest son still attends school. Bill is a welder, and Joanna is a housewife. They are looking forward to watching their foster children grow and blossom under their love!

Philip and Hannah
Philip and Hannah are the proud parents of 3 grown children. Their oldest daughter is studying in a financial college, their son works for the local government; and their youngest daughter is attending medical school. Hannah is a housewife, and Philip recently left his job at a chemistry factory. Missing the joy and fun of young children, they decided to become foster parents because they have a heart to help the unfortunate. We are thankful they are our new foster parents!
