Making Jiaozi in the Foster Home

      Share

It's a highlight of the New Day Foster Home calendar, our annual Chinese New Year celebrations.
The traditional food to eat at Chinese New Year is jiaozi, dumplings filled with delicious filling. The celebrations are all about family being together, and making jiaozi together is such a fun tradition. The nannies are all experts at making the dumplings, and even the smallest babies get to watch and join in the process. Some of the older kids are getting rather good at making their own. Once the dumplings have been boiled, everyone sits down together for a wonderful feast!
