Though we hope we never need to get out of our building quickly, we want our nannies to know how to get the children out of the building quickly. We had a fire drill, and even practiced using fire extinguishers to put out small fires we started in the back yard. We think the kids just thought the drill was a fun excuse to go outside in a hurry! In fact, they were so fast in getting out that we only had time to get one picture of the great escape!
