Each weekday the foster family kids come and join the other children of New Day Foster Home to not only learn new things in our preschool, but it also is a great time of fun. They learn practical things like colors, numbers, shapes, counting, their ABC’s, eye-hand coordination, and large and small motor skills, but also learn social skills needed to get along and interact with their peers. They don’t realize all this of course; it’s just plain fun to them! Recently, some changes have come about and the preschool has grown and been expanded. Now the 3 year olds (and older) attend in the mornings and the 2 year olds come in the afternoons. William, Annie, and Liam all joined the preschool group this past month. We are excited to see each child grow and learn new things each and every day!
