One of our interns is the fundraising coordinator at a school called Bayview Hill in Richmond Hill, Canada. Each year they have a bake sale for Grade 3, and the funds raised benefit children in China. With the funds they raised this year, they paid for a child's cleft lip and palate surgery. There was some remaining money after paying for the surgery, so they decided to use the money to sponsor a trip to the Wildlife Park for our children. The children enjoyed seeing all the animals, though sometimes they came a bit too close for comfort!
