August is peach season here in Beijing. Many of the children in foster families had already gone peach picking with their foster parents, but Wendy, Colton, Claire, Lily, Emma and Mollie had never gotten the chance. We loaded up the van and drove to a nearby peach field where we filled our baskets and ate some fruit right off of the tree.
