China is a country full of rich cultural traditions. Among these traditions are the many holidays that are so important to Chinese families. The Mid-Autumn festival is a holiday based on the lunar calendar and coinciding with a full moon. Mooncakes are the famous food associated with this holiday and some of our generous sponsors donated boxes of the cakes for our children to enjoy. The weather was just perfect and so we set a table up outside and had our own celebration!
