Mid-Autumn Festival is an important Chinese holiday... a time for families to come together. And of course, there's all the moon cakes that must be eaten! Here at the foster home, we kicked off the Mid-Autumn festival with a small party for our children, who enjoyed eating fruit, cake, and mooncake. We also enjoyed a very special visit from a returning NDFH graduate. Then some of our older children got to stay up extra-late and go to Beijing to watch an acrobatic show on ice! It was a wonderful holiday with lots of fun memories made.
