Chinese New Year isn't just one day on the Chinese calendar... it's a fifteen day holiday beginning with "New Year's Eve" and fireworks, and ending with the lantern festival, which means more fireworks and celebrations. While the highlight of New Years celebrations are "feng pao" (fireworks), parades and dances are the big thing during the Lantern Festival. In years past we've taken the children to see the village performances and parades, but this year we took the event into our own hands, with our talented nannies and their little prodigies.
