Jiaozi Party Time

      Share
It's a much-anticipated highlight of the New Day holiday calendar - the Chinese New Year jiaozi party. Jiaozi are a type of dumpling - a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together. They are one of the major foods eaten during Chinese New Year. The staff, foster parents and children all work together to make them, and then everyone enjoys eating them, along with some other tasty treats. Even the smallest kids had a chance to join in this fun experience.
