Out back an unusual crop has been growing and the time came to harvest it. Gourds are hard-rinded fruits grown for decorative purposes, and apparently they can be very valuable. The kids from morning preschool, and some of the little ones, came out to help. They loved being lifted up to pluck the gourds. Next it was time to harvest the delicious radishes that have been growing, and then they could have a taste.
