Due to the cold weather we had over the Easter holiday, we pushed our celebration of new life off a little bit... until there actually was some new life in the form of flowers and green grass and blooming bushes. Our backyard is starting to come alive after a long winter's sleep, and so we took everyone outside for an afternoon of hunting for treats. We also had a mini petting zoo with baby chicks and rabbits! The children enjoyed the party, and we enjoyed watching them.
