In our backyard classroom for some of the older children, we have started a set time for English language learning and activities. This week they had a fun project: baking! And so, for many of the children's first time, they cracked eggs and measured and watched cookies bake in our little toaster oven. It was a lot of fun and the cookies were delicious!
