May 14, 2009 was a bittersweet day for New Day Foster Home. After spending one year as an intern at NDFH, Lauren is going back to the USA for college. Lauren took a year off between high school and college and came to serve at NDFH. She assisted Sarah as our preschool teacher, and she brought a lot of life, laughter, and love to everyone. The children and staff all love her -- Peter's first word was Lauren! -- and we will definitely miss her. We're so thankful that she spent this time with us, and we know that she will go on to accomplish great things and leave a beautiful mark on the world. From all of us, Lauren, we thank you, we love you, we'll miss you, and we wish you the best!
