How You Help

Through the Child Sponsorship program, individuals and businesses underwrite the costs associated with the daily care of our young children. Your support helps us meet needs like:

 

• Food and Clothing
• Basic Medical Supplies
• Childcare Supplies
• Adoption Paperwork Preparation
• Early Childhood Education
• Staff and Caregiver’s Salaries*
• Facility Maintenance Costs

 

*Foreign workers at New Day Foster Home do not receive a salary from the Foster Home for their work. A portion of your sponsorship money helps to pay the salaries of local workers, ensuring our children receive excellent care and providing meaningful and stable work opportunities in a safe environment for local people.

How It Works

As a sponsor, you choose which child you’d like to sponsor. We’ll send you an initial sponsor packet with a photograph and information on the child. Throughout the year, you will receive monthly e-mail updates with a progress report and a new picture.

A Gift That Gives

Mom doesn’t really need a new sweater, and your dad probably has all the golf clubs he wants. So why not give a gift that gives back? Whether it’s for a holiday, birthday, or in memory of someone, choosing to sponsor a child in someone’s honor is A Gift that Gives joy and hope all year long.

The honoree will receive a letter acknowledging the donation you gave in his or her name and explaining our work and how the gift will be used. Then, they will receive monthly e-mail updates and pictures of the child you’ve chosen for them.

To give A Gift that Gives, complete the normal registration process under your name. On the final registration page, please complete the Gift that Gives registration form in addition to making payment arrangements so that we know the nature of your sponsorship. The Fine Print

It takes multiple sponsors for a child to be considered fully sponsored, and children with no sponsors receive the same high level of care that children who are fully sponsored receive. You can discontinue your sponsorship at any time, though many of our sponsors decide to sponsor a child until he or she is adopted.

Each sponsorship is $35.00 per month. Donations can be made on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. You can donate by check, bank transfer, or on-line through PayPal. Donations are tax-deductible in the USA.
