Jason was born on March 30, 2003. One month later he was found abandoned and taken to a local orphanage. When he arrived at the orphanage he was very thin from lack of nutrition and was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. In March 2004 Jason was brought to Beijing for heart surgery. The surgery was successful and after one week he was brought to New Day Foster Home. Upon arrival we found that he exhibited signs of neglect. He would roll back and forth in his crib to stimulate himself. We are now giving him extra special attention and are finding already the symptoms are decreasing. We are so happy that we have this opportunity to make a difference in this little ones life.
