Samuel
Birthdate: December 6, 2014
Samuel was born December 6, 2014, and abandoned six weeks later, on January 23, 2015, in the baby safe house at the front gate of the local orphanage. Samuel struggles with many special needs, including a congenital heart defect, ENT and neurological issues. He is a weak little guy who gets sick often, and had a GI surgery in July to help him gain weight and hopefully remain healthy. Samuel joined our project for temporary medical care July 27, 2015, soon after returning to Inner Mongolia following receiving treatment in Beijing. On October 20, 2015, he joined our program permanently and our nannies are already smitten by his personality and smile.
