Evan was found abandoned at the local bus station and taken to the orphanage. When Evan first arrived he was a very unhappy little boy. He cried often and if he wasn't crying he would sit in his chair expressionless. He also had difficulty eating which had caused malnourishment. After being placed in a foster family with love and care he began to improve. His appetite improved and he even begun to smile.

The end of 2008 more tests were done to see why Evan was having difficulty gaining weight. Nothing could be determined so in Dec 2008 Evan was brought to Beijing. It was so heart rending to see how thin he was. He is unable to sit or stand and it seems as if he has given up wanting to survive. We are praying we will be able to solve his medical issues. He is definitely going to need a miracle.
