April 3rd little Lizhong arrived from Inner Mongolia for surgery. He is living with an excellent foster family so his foster mother came with him. Once he has recovered he will return to Hohhot with his foster mother. When Lizhong arrived he had pneumonia so he had to receive treatment before he could have surgery. On April 18th he was finally healthy enough to have surgery. The four hour surgery was very successful. We are glad for the opportunity to help save this little boy's life.

On April 24th at 4:40 pm we received a call from the hospital letting us know Lizhong was in bad shape and needed emergency surgery. The pressure in his brain was so great that he was vomitting and having seizures.
We rushed into the hospital where we were met by the doctor to sign surgery papers. After explaining the situation to us we went to the room to see Lizhong.
The pressure in his head had suddenly gone down and emergency surgery was no longer needed. We are so thank for everyone's prayers and for this miracle in little Lizhong's life.
