He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or sadness.
There will be no more crying or pain. Things are no longer the way they used to be.

For the first time in her life, Liu Yi knows what it means to be whole; to be perfect; to have no pain or sickness or sadness. No longer an orphan, she is home.

Though she was only here for 4 months, Liu Yi's life was a life well-lived, for through her we learned a lesson that we believe can transform the world, when it is fully realized. With severe scoliosis and a grave heart problem, it would have been easy to give up on Liu Yi. By trying to save her, her doctors, caregivers, and those of us at NDFH were reminded that every life is worth fighting for, because every child is created with great joy and love by her Father for a significant purpose.

Though letting go is sad, we trust that she is in the arms of her Father who loves her beyond measure. She is safe and secure, and no sickness or suffering can touch her ever again.

Things are no longer the way they used to be, and that is a beautiful thing.
