June 15, 2017 - November 24, 2017

As we were preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving with the children we received news that stopped us in our tracks, Larry had suddenly passed away.

This didn’t make sense. And it doesn’t make sense. Larry was born with a GI disorder and heart disease, but he was doing well. His smiles and giggles were contagious and we continued to fall further in love with this sweet little boy.

Losing Larry seems unimaginable. Yet, through pain and heartbreak we fight to be thankful. We are thankful for the honor it was to care for Larry. We are thankful that he knew that he was loved. We are thankful for his sweet smiles and we are thankful that he is now fully healed.
