Maria was born on June 2, 2005. She was abandoned outside the hospital in her hometown on November 2, 2006. Doctors diagnosed her with a severe heart disease; she has a complete endocardial cushion defect. Little Maria is a shy girl who is quiet and likes to be by herself. Her language has developed very well, and she likes to sing songs. She is weak because of her heart problem, so she isn't able to walk very quickly or move much. But, we know that with treatment, she will improve, and we look forward to the day that she runs and plays!
