Name: Ken
Birthdate: July 4, 2011

Ken was born July 4, 2011. He was born with ENT and GI defects. Ken was found in a field of trees next to a local complex when he was three days old. The police searched for his parents, but could not find them and Ken was taken to the local orphanage. Ken arrived at New Day Foster Home March 16, 2012. He is a very smart little boy who turns his head to locate sounds. He responds to his name and loves to be talked to by his caregivers. Ken likes to suck on his fingers, and his laugh lights up his face. While we're already in love with Ken's precious, wide grin, we know that surgery is critical for him to develop appropriate speech and eating skills, so we hope that he will be able to have this surgery soon. We're excited to see what is in store for Ken's life.

We provide this information to give our sponsors and supporters a general idea of the challenges our children face. For prospective adoptive parents, this information is not intended to be a substitute for a complete and up-to-date referral packet from your adoption agency.
