Clara
Birthday: May 16, 2014
Clara was born May 16, 2014 and abandoned four months later, and admitted into the local orphanage. She was born with Down syndrome and a complex heart defect. Clara is a tiny girl who shows tremendous promise. Clara joined our project November 3, 2014. When she arrived, she was struggling with malnutrition due, in part, to her heart condition. In February 2015, Clara was able to have her life-saving heart surgery, and while her recovery was touch-and-go, she survived and is now amazing us with her life, spirit and joy. We are so thankful to have the chance to pour out love on little Clara and hope that she will continue to grow and thrive, and one day have a forever family of her own. Read her Amazing Story!
