Jack was born on May 1, 2007. He was abandoned at the gate of a local shopping center on June 17, 2007. When they were unable to locate his parents, the police brought Jack to the local orphanage. Upon examination, the orphanage discovered he had a heart disease -- VSD and narrow Pulmonary Artery. The orphanage asked us to take him for treatment. He arrived at our foster home on December 15, 2007 very malnourished and weak. Due to his weakened condition, he was extremely susceptible to pneumonia. He was finally healthy enough to have his heart surgery on February 28, 2008 and was released from the hospital on March 11, 2008. The surgery was very successful, and we look forward to seeing the long and healthy life our little Chris will enjoy!
