Name: Benjamin
Birthdat
e: January 29, 2013

On a cold winter day, January 29, 2013, little Benjamin was born. Born premature he was abandoned and taken to the local orphanage weighing only 4.7 pounds. After arriving at the orphanage, the staff found that when they tried to feed him he would throw-up. He was taken to the local hospital where he was diagnosed with a severe upper GI defect. The local surgeon was unable to do the emergency surgery needed to save his life. So his orphanage called us asking for help. Benjamin arrived in Beijing on February 7, 2013 and was admitted to the hospital immediately. Benjamin's emergency surgery was done upon arriving at the hospital, and was successful. The doctors diagnosed him with an additional GI defect which will need surgery. We are thankful for this opportunity to bring hope to this little boy and are excited to watch the transformations that will happen. Read his amazing story.
