Asher
Birthdate: July 27, 2010

Asher was born July 27, 2010 and abandoned at the local village two days later, the evening of July 29th. When Asher was found the police were called, but his parents were unable to be found and so Asher was taken to the local orphanage. He was born with GI, Urology and orthapedic issues. Asher has already had two surgeries on his GI defect. Asher arrived at New Day Foster Home September 11, 2012 when he was two years old. He can communicate with adults and talk in two to three word phrases. When Asher first met our dog, Tom, he immediately liked him and tried to get on his back for a ride. Asher is a handsome little boy with big, soulful eyes. He was in foster care before coming to NDFH to receive the additional medical care and surgeries that he will need, and we hope that he will adjust quickly and know that he is special and loved.

We provide this information to give our sponsors and supporters a general idea of the challenges our children face. For prospective adoptive parents, this information is not intended to be a substitute for a complete and up-to-date referral packet from your adoption agency. Please keep in mind that in our communications, we always try to focus on a child's strengths, accomplishments, and positive developments, not in an attempt to gloss-over their often serious medical conditions, but in an effort to share a glimpse of their precious personalities.
