On Jan. 22, 2002 little Dang Dong Xing was abandoned at the hospital in Shanxi province with a serious heart condition. Authorities were unable to locate her parents so she was taken to the orphanage. This precious shy, amendable little girl was brought to Beijing for surgery at Fuwai Hospital. On July 22, 2004 following a successful operation Alena came to live with us at the New Day Foster Home. Upon arrival she was very weak and unable to sit or stand for very long. With love and care we know that she will soon be running around with all the other children.
