New Day South Spring Update
http://www.newdaysouth.com

Dear Friends,

After a relatively calm and quiet winter season, spring is 'busting out' with new life and activity here at New Day South.

New Babies
Since we last wrote, we have brought in 5 new babies, including little Abigail who just arrived a few days ago.

Welcome Sadie, Jade, Abigail, Ruth & Sophia!

We continue to get wee little ones here at New Day South - Sophia came to us at 4 days of age, Sadie at 15 days, and Jade was 1 month old (big sister Ruth was the exception at the ripe old age of 6 months.) Then, while drafting this newsletter a few days ago, we received a call from one of our partner orphanages asking us to help little Abigail born less than 24 hours before, our youngest child ever.

More Room
To increase our capacity for these and more children to come, we recently rented a 3rd apartment here at our same location. After some reshuffling of our storage and office space, we will soon have room to care for 20-24 children.

Saying "Yes"
Agreeing to help when we receive calls for little ones like Abigail presents a challenge to our small organization. With little babies like Abigail we don't always know what additional medical needs will surface in those early weeks and months of life - no way to 'budget' or plan for their medical expenses. (Indeed, soon after Abigail was admitted to the hospital the doctors told us that she would need to be in PICU for at least a month before surgery.)

Yet by God's grace and the encouragement we receive from you our friends and supporters, we find ourselves saying "yes!" time and again and somehow the need is always met. The reality is that we are often the only hope many of these children have, and we always want to be ready when asked to help a child in need.

We can only do this with your enabling support. Thank you so much for standing with us in this mission of "bringing hope to the hopeless and the fatherless home."

Gratefully,

Doug Bush and the New Day South Team

Pray for Abigail
Abigail was born with a very serious and life-threatening congenital birth defect.  She is now in PICU while the doctors evaluate treatment options.  We will be posting updates on our Facebook page.

Did you know?
Regular monthly giving via child sponsorships is the primary way we meet the monthly operating expenses of the foster home.

As a child sponsor, you will receive email updates and pictures every month - a great way to follow your child's progress in his / her journey to healing, hope and family.

The children below (and others) are all in need of new sponsors:

Sponsor Ruth!

Bon Sponsor Grady!

Sponsor Nina!

Zai jian, Polly!
Polly was our first adoption of 2015.  So happy she is finally now with her forever family!.
