Wangshu

Wangshu & Ruth with their daughter
Foster Family Manager

I left the state run printing factory in Beijing where I worked for 16 years and came to work for New Day Creations as a manager of the craft factory in July 2002. For many years my jobs have consumed most of my time so that I was unable to do something for orphans. I'm glad that I now have this opportunity to join New Day Foster Home, a big family, and become a part of it. I love kids very much and have always wanted to do something for them. It is love that brings everyone here to serve the orphans. I like the atmosphere here and like my new job very much. I'll try to use my gifts and skills to serve and help the orphans and at the same time I hope that through my service for the foster project, the foster families can receive more help and blessings.

Doug

Doug, Janice and Sarah Grace
Healing Home Manager

Doug and Janice first traveled to China in early 2002 to adopt a little girl from Jiangxi province. They returned home not only with a new daughter, but also with a new-found love for the people of China and a growing desire to help the orphaned and disabled children. After learning of the work at New Day, Doug first returned to China in 2003 to visit the foster home. Several years and several trips later, the Bush's made the decision to move to China and join the New Day team. The words "freely you have received, freely give" have special meaning to Doug who was himself abandoned as an infant and placed for adoption. The Bush's are grateful for this opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of the children. To contact Doug and Janice, or receive their monthly newsletter, send an email to doug@newdaycreations.com
