Jace's dream came true

Welcome Wendy

We’re having a record week,
a record month,
and a record year!

The week of November 6th we had five children leave us and join their forever family. For 2011 we have had 31 children ADOPTED to date and we’re not done yet. One of the greatest joys that we are privileged to have is witnessing the children’s dreams coming true when their faces light up with pure joy and they get crazy happy as they are introduced to their new Mom and Dad.

Those that have been adopted since the last newsletter are Khloe, Isaac, Jace, Lucy Kate, Lena, Krisha, Vincent, and Keith. Please celebrate with them as they start the next chapter of life with their new family.

With so many children having just left- over the next couple of weeks NEW CHILDREN will be arriving. So far Rebecca, Esther, Wendy, Joseph, Micah and Calvin have joined our family.

I would especially like to introduce Wendy to you. Wendy was just abandoned in August 2011 at four years old. It is hard to bear the pain and sorrow reflected in her eyes. We look forward to the day her face will light up with joy.

Joseph

The following kids had SURGERY – Carissa had stent surgery, Joseph and Benjamin had heart surgery, Ariana had palate surgery.

When you deal with high risk children you leave your heart open to being hurt. We most recently lost Carissa but we were blessed to be able to love her and to be with her when she moved from this life into glory.

Having lost two babies ( Carissa & Paige) in such a short time we did not think that we had emotional strength for another difficult case so we brought in Joseph who we thought was a medium case. We found out later that what we thought was simple turned out to be quite complicated. But he turned out to be another miracle and it’s a good thing we thought he was a simple case for it seems if we had not brought him in when we did he would not be alive today.

Read his story.

Some good friends donated new strollers but they were hung up in customs for 10 months. Recently a long awaited event happened – the new strollers finally arrived and we are no longer embarrassed to take our children on walks.

FALL IS IN THE AIR- time to play in leaves and make jack-o-lanterns. The babies are growing, tigers are loose and birthdays are being celebrated. Therapy is helping the children develop and with so much going on there is never a dull moment.

Strollers finally arrived

Nice crunchy leaves
