REWRITING STORIES

RONAN'S AMAZING STORY

Three-month-old Ronan came to New Day Foster Home because he had been diagnosed with a serious heart condition; he needed surgery that his orphanage was not able to provide. We took him to a number of hospitals in Beijing that specialize in heart surgery. They all refused to do his heart surgery because they said it was too high risk. Ronan was in a difficult situation- he needed surgery quickly but no one was willing.........

ADOPTION

One of the most important rewrites in the children's story is when the children are adopted and join their forever family. This is always a time of rejoicing for so many people. So join with us in celebrating three children joining their forever families next week. Congratulations Halle Grace, Hallie and Jonas.

SURGERY

Another important rewrite is when the children are able to have surgery. Their story might have begun with pain and loss but love is rewriting their story. Thank you everyone who helps us make this possible.

PORTRAIT

Some of our sponsors from the Beijing West Train station came with a very special gift for the children they sponsor. They drew pictures of the children from their photos. We were all amazed......
Check out some more of the portraits.
