Because of this wonderful thing called adoption we have recently said good bye to Matthias, Nicholas, Annie, Trey, Debra, Zitao and Chandler.

Welcome
We have also just welcomed Brooke, Isaac, Evangeline, and Caleb to our family.

Quick thinking Timothy
Surgery
Those who have had surgery this time around are Lucy Kate, Caleb, Jayce, Evangeline and Timothy. Oh Timothy, remember he was the one who got his first surgery attempt canceled by faking a cough.

Caleb

Summer Miracle
Only 4-months-old and about 7 pounds, Caleb arrived on June 30, 2010 at New Day suffering from both pneumonia and bronchitis. His greatest need, however, resided in his heart. Caleb was born with a rare, serious heart condition.
The surgeon told us there are only 100 known cases similar to Caleb’s and though it would have been better to wait until he was stronger, they had no choice but to operate since without surgery he only had a couple of days to live. The surgery took place on August 4, 2010 and lasted 14 hours.

Caleb’s healing process has been incredible. His surgeon said that Caleb recovered faster than all the other heart babies in PICU, even though Caleb’s case was far more complicated. After being released from PICU less than two weeks after surgery, he is on the road to a full recovery and a healthy life.

Birthdays and Imagination
I'm sure you will want to check out our kids, their birthday celebrations and their great imaginations. It could be dressing up, going to sea, or participating in a triathlon, all are done with such creativity and zeal.

Happy Birthday

Dressing up
