No longer LONELY
One of the most fulfilling things we experience is to see a child, that came in very sick, leave us healthy and with their very own forever family. So far this year Polly, Philip have been adopted. Mark leaves this weekend and next weekend Poppy and Cora Jo will join their forever families. |

SURGERY The road to no longer being lonely begins with surgery. Celebrate with Clara and Chis as they start on this journey. |

Mark's case was so severe that he needed to be admitted to the hospital July 2, 2013. The necessary tests were done and he was put on "the liver transplant list." Every few days we would contact the doctors, asking for an update on Mark's condition. Each time they said that his condition was "very serious" and that he would need a transplant soon. They weren't sure that he was going to make it. Dr. Li, the head surgeon, told us July 16th that he was concerned that Mark would go into liver failure before a liver could be found for him. But he did and he is leaving with his forever mother tomorrow. Rejoice with us! |
