Hearts at Risk
When you choose to get involved in the lives of kids with heart issues, you put your own heart at risk. Inevitably we fall in love with them but because of their special need there is always the possibility that they might not make it Most of them do but when one doesn’t it breaks our hearts. Then for a moment – a very brief moment – we ask ourselves do we put our heart at risk again. Of course the answer is YES. Recently we went through this when we lost little Tristan. His memorial service.

New Arrivals
The new arrivals this month are Robert, Chase, Kiah, Anton, Emelia, Jenna and Jeremy. Chase came in with a bang - no sooner then he arrives he is rushed to the hospital with severe pnuemonia and heart failure.

Surgeries
This time around the following surgeries were performed - Ethan (hypospadia), Sean (heart), and Miranda (heart). We’re pleased to report that both Sean & Miranda healed quickly and the surgeries cost half of what we expected. That always makes us happy.

Look who’s been adopted. Kevin, Adrian, & Christopher. Yeah!
